A few principles that stay with me.
It’s a beautiful day.
Every morning brings a new day. A chance to do good and create something worthwhile.
No time pressure.
I don’t even set an alarm. If we do something together, let’s give it the time it needs to turn out well.
Not for money. For the joy of it.
A task interests me when I find joy in doing it.
A hemina of quality.
Like a hemina: enough means something different to each of us. Always with practicality in mind and high standards of quality.
No problems. Just situations.
When we see a problem as a situation, possibilities for solving it open up.
No expectations. No disappointment.
My parents taught me this: without expectations, everything we receive can bring joy. That includes whatever I can offer.
Actually, yes: anything that doesn’t interest me.
